DESCRIPTION:The Implementation Science Collaborative is pleased to announce that an abstract detailing one of the Advancements in Postpartum Hemorrhage Care (APPHC) implementation research studies was accepted as an oral presentation at the American Public Health Association’s annual meeting and expo\, Nov. 6-9\, 2022\, in Boston\, Mass. A collaboration with Kamuzu University of Health Sciences\, University of California San Francisco (UCSF) and PRONTO International\, it focuses on a mentor-led\, simulation-based intervention for providers and is featured as part of a maternal health session in the international program. The session titled\, “Pivoting in the context of COVID-19: Hybrid training for nurse mentors to conduct simulation activities to improve the management of obstetric emergencies in Malawi” will be presented by Alisa Jenny\, Technical Director at UCSF.
