DESCRIPTION:The Conference will bring together Ministers of Health\, Permanent/Principal Secretaries\, Senior Officials from Ministries of Health\, Experts\, Researchers\, Heads of Health Training Institutions and diverse Collaborating Partners in the East\, Central and Southern Africa (ECSA) region and beyond. The meeting will be organized in three parts: \n\n\n\n· The Best Practices Forum; Feb. 5-6\, 2023· The Directors Joint Consultative Committee; Feb. 7\, 2023· The Health Ministers Conference; Feb. 8-9 2023 \n\n\n\nThis year’s theme is “Stronger health system post COVID-19 for attainment of universal health coverage in the ECSA Region.” The conference aims to address the challenges and opportunities that the COVID-19 pandemic has presented to the healthcare system and to discuss strategies for building a stronger and more resilient healthcare system in the ECSA region.
