SUMMARY:2024 Annual Meeting for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action
DESCRIPTION:In response to insights from 300+ members and key stakeholders\, this year’s theme focuses on protecting children in escalating conflict and crises. This encompasses crises prompted by conflict or armed violence\, climate shocks and natural hazards\, and in many cases a combination. The impacts of escalating crises are most heavily felt by children\, further complicating the child protection risks they face\, whether in their communities or along migration routes. With the meeting in Latin America\, they’ll address the region’s unique challenges\, providing a platform for participants to share\, exchange\, and showcase expertise from diverse global and regional perspectives.
