Summary
The High Quality of Health Services for Development (HSD) of USAID-Guinea is a 5-year cooperation agreement (2015-2020) implemented by Jhpiego, EngenderHealth and Save the Children. Building on previous achievements supported by USAID, the HSD aims to expand access and the availability of integrated health services to improve the quality of reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health services, with a sub-focus on obstetric fistula, gender-based violence and the prevention and control of cross-sectional infections. The efforts ultimately targeted 278 health structures and 1,035 surrounding communities in 32 prefectures, in the regions of Boké, Conakry, Kindia, Mamou, Faranah, Kankan and Labé, covering 85% of the Guinean population.
