This webinar highlighted implementation strategies for providing depression care and psychosocial support to vulnerable mothers in low- and middle-income countries, highlighting key findings and lessons learned from the Baby Friendly Spaces program for refugee mothers in Bangladesh and the Maternal Depression Treatment in HIV (M-DEPTH) program for HIV-infected pregnant women in Uganda. An expert panel provided perspectives on important challenges in the field and outline opportunities to advance maternal mental health care for special populations.
